I Have an Announcement to Make..

Fact About Me Friday is no more.

It not because I'm a quitter its just because, well there are just so many other great link ups on Fridays and I like joining in and as easy as it was to add some fact it just wasn't working out. Maybe one day Ill have a link up party to stick with! Plus I can tell you more about me any day! 

Now moving on I have some exciting news!

I was awarded the Versatile Blogger Award last week from the beautiful Becca from A Blonde's Logic!

Well lookie there what a qwa-winki-dink Im still gonna be sharing some facts about my self today!

1. I LOVE the Today Show! I watch it everyday if I can!  I cant particularly pin why I like it so much but I just do!

(Meredith isn't on the show anymore but you get the picture)

2. My favorite Disney Princess is Ariel. It may or may not have to do with the fact that we both have red hair! ;)

3. I was only in 10th grade for a few weeks and then skipped up to 11th! So I obviously graduated a year early, I don't know how I did it exactly but somehow I was able to move up only having to take one summer English class.

4. I am a cuddle bug! I love to cuddle with my man! Its actually very rare for us to simply be sitting by each other and not at least holding hands and I love that about us!!

5. My favorite breakfast right now is a bowl of granola, yogurt and blueberries all mixed together.

6. I played the Clarinet from 6th grade until 10/11th grade.

7. One of my favorite drinks is Green Tea! Sweet Tea also one of my favorites but If I have both in the fridge, you can bet Green Tea is what I have in my cup!

Now I would like to continue passing this award too...

Fact About Me Friday: Take 3

Its Friday!!!

Wooooooo Hooooooo!

Which as you all have probably figured out means I am moving tomorrow!!! ;)

It also means it is time for Fact About Me Friday!

So I hope you will join in with me and tell all your blogging buddies more about yourself!

My facts this week are...

1. I'm a procrastinator. I hate it but its true! I plan to work really hard on it this semester though and hopefully I will be able to say I'm not!

2. I have to use multiple alarms to wake up. and I usually hit snooze at least once on all three. It is ridiculous I know! but its something I plan to work on this semester too!

3. My first job was at a Bar-B-Que joint. I started working there as a helper in 8th grade and didn't leave until the summer before college.

4. I love Dill Pickles!! Maybe not as much as Snookie but I do like them a lot! especially when they are fried!

5. I am a teacher's kid. My mom taught the whole time I was in school and 95% of the time she taught at the same school I was attending. She became a principle of a small Private school that my sister goes to after I graduated and just retired this year.

So there you have it folks!

Here are my Facts about me this week

1. I have a furbaby named Stitch! 

He is a Chihuahua and I got him when he was just a few weeks old! He is now 10 years old, but you would never believe it if you met him! He is still just as energetic as the first day I brought him home! He has quite the personality and his favorite human food is popcorn! He is an crazy little fellow but I still love the little booger with all my heart!

2. I can do a mean British accent! 

My freshman year of college I lived in an all girl dorm and we would always talk to each other with British accents. I did it so much that I became really good at it! So good in fact that when I was a waitress I would occasionally talk with a British accent to my customers and convince them I was from London! I want to go there soo bad and see if I could fit in!

3. I am a Mac

I have nothing major against PCs, I used to be one. I got a MacBook as my first laptop and I don't think I will ever be able to go back! I like how simplified and easy it is to use and its great for school and of all the projects I have to do! It even calls me "Beautiful Woman" when it needs my attention! (who would ever want to give that up?! haha)

4. I LOVE cookie dough! 

Like L-O-V-E it!! I could seriously eat a whole roll in one setting! (its bad I know)

This past Sunday I made Cookie Dough Truffles (yes you read that right) to eat for the bachelorette finale. They are so good I have to share them with you!

I got the idea from a pin I pinned on Pinterest a while back and I followed the link but it they were made from scratch and I just didn't have that kind of time so I made my own version. If you would like the made from scratch version by Lindsay and Taylor you can find it HERE

This was the easiest recipe I have ever made! and I cant even begin to describe how yummy they were!

All you need is a roll of cookie dough and some dark chocolate morsels. (I used the Nestle brand for both ingredients)

1. Pinch off cookie dough from the roll and make it into a ball then place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

2.Once you fill your tray stick it in the freezer for about 30 minutes

3. Melt the dark chocolate morsels in a bowl of some sort.

4. Dip your frozen cookie dough balls into the melted chocolate. Try to cover the cookie dough completely, you can achieve this pretty easy by twirling the chocolate around the cookie dough.

5. Place the chocolate cover cookie dough balls on wax paper and let it them cool completely

(Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator...they will be good up to a week if you can make them last that long!)

I am telling ya, if you LOVE cookie dough, you need to go home right now and make these delicious babies! They would be a perfect treat to snack on this weekend!
