Dear Monday, Your Awesome!

Happy Monday Friends!

(I'm trying to be really nice to Monday so that hopefully it will be really nice to me in return today!)

(so far it is working.)

How was everyones weekend?!

I hope GREAT is the answer!

That's what my answer is! :)

Because My weekend consisted of some great/fun/happy/awesome things like...

- Dressing up and going to the Creative Workshop by a Designer from London!

The workshop was amazing!!

(Maxi Dress: Target, Belt: Thrifted from my Moms Closet)

(I still don't have a fashion photographer but get excited because I will here soon!!)

- My man coming to see me!!

- Moving some of the handsome man's things into his house so it will be kinda ready for him when he moves back in A WEEK!! (ahhh Im so excited!)

- Trying the new BLT Blue cheese hot dog from Sonic

Let me tell ya I never knew a hot dog could taste that way and be so yummy!!

- Window shopping and adding even more things to my want list! Like the most beautiful pair of tennis shoes I have ever seen and a super stylish jacket. 

- eating fried pickles!!! I LOVE pickles and fried ones at that and I had the pleasure of discovering that sonic has some on their menu!! 

- Watching Bridesmaids!!

I had been wanting to see this movie for soo long and it finally happened yesterday!

I personally thought that the movie was stinkin hilarious and I might have even watched it two times in row! 

- Homework, Homework, Studying, and Homework

 - A good friend coming over and just hanging out and talking instead of doing homework like we said we would (Im kinda really glad we didn't)

- eating M&Ms and peanut butter with a spoon

One Word: MmmMMmm

(If that even is a word)

- OSU winning against Texas A&M! woot woot! I knew my Cowboy's could do it! Were 3-0 right now and I hope we keep up the booty kickin!!

- Pizza and having two boxes left over in my fridge! I got a whole pizza from my Dad and one from Justin in a three day span! Success! 

- A really wonderful and relaxing bubble bath that I really needed after my crazy week and to get me ready for this one!

- Discovering a new hair style for myself!

And yeah that what made my GREAT weekend!

Daddy's Girl

Happy Fall!!!

and

Friday!!

I think this has to be one of the best Fridays ever with it being the first day of Fall and the start of my much needed weekend!!

Anywho some of you might remember me saying something about my daddy-o coming to visit me yesterday...

Well he did come and we had a Great night together!

I am a complete Daddy's Girl and I have been since day one basically! 

My Dad and I pretty much have the same personality and so I think thats what make us click so well.

(I am not denying I have several qualities like my mom and we click in our ways too but that is a whole other post)

To start our evening off my dad took me to one of my favorite restaurants here in Stillwater called Eskimo Joes!

Have you ever heard of it or been there?! If you haven't you have to go! and let me come with you! ;)

My dad order the Fowl Thing (chicken sandwich) and when it came out it was HUGE!

(Im telling you Im not exaggerating)

This is my Daddy ready to eat the massive thing!

I had a burger and some of the best fires ever! I don't know why but I have a strong obsession with Joe's french fries and ranch. I think I would eat them everyday if possible!

I had meant to ask for our waitress to take our picture together but It was a little busy and I didn't get the chance :/ next time I guess!

After our super yummy dinner we went back to my apartment to change and get ready to run around campus.

A little over a year ago my dad really started to go into this health kick and started working our a lot. He wasn't over weight or unhealthy in my opinion but it was just something he really wanted to do. 

His dad, my Grandpa, passed away when I was just a year old from heart problems and I think my dad wants to make sure he really takes care of him self so he can make sure he will be around for a long time! Which I am more than proud of him for doing!

He actually lost a lot of weight (even though there wasn't much to loose in the first place) and he has stayed pretty detected to his new lifestyle. 

Anyway the point of that story is we ran two and a half miles together and let me tell you this 41 year old man complexity put me to same! As embarrassed as I should be I really am not because I am just gleaming with pride! He is a beast and there is no other way to put it.

After our run my dad really wanted to get Ice cream (oh the irony) so we did.

It was a great reward in my opinion especially because i had PUMPKIN ICE CREAM with white chocolate chips!

ooh it was sooo yummy!!

In conclusion we had a perfect Daddy and Daughter night! 

(Thank You Daddy!)

Anyone else out there a Daddy's Girl?! 

Now my dad is off an gone back home and I am off to have a great weekend!!

Settling In and Catchin Up

Happy Monday Lovelies!!

I hope you had a wonderful, awesome, spectacular weekend!

My weekend was great!!

I am officially a resident in Stillwater, OK and I am loving it already!!

I am all moved into my apartment with just a few things to do!

Tomorrow will be my first unveiling of my little place!

So that means you better come back tomorrow!!

Today I am going to be unpacking my last few boxes 

and

Catching up with all of you!!

I haven't been able to read, comment, or reply to all your sweet comments and emails in over a week!

It makes me sad that I have missed out but I cant wait to see what you all have been up too! 

So you pretty little puppies I just wanted to let you know what was going on today!

A Very Busy Bee

Hello Hello Hello!

I hope you all had a FABULOUS weekend!

Mine was well CRAZY!

I worked a 13 hour shift at Fossil, painted and hammered my heart away on projects for my apartment, packed, packed and packed some more!

I still have a lot to do in order to move this Saturday! (ahh I cant wait!)
and to make me even more busy I have a huge deadline to meet at work this week!

(Trust me you dont want to see my ridicuolus To-Do list!)

So I want to prepare you that my posts this week will most likely be short and sweet!

It is not because I don't love you all but because I am speed typing this in the last ten minutes of my lunch break and that's probably how the rest of this weeks post will be posted too!

I'm sorry in advance!! (but hey at least I am dedicated and I promise to post something right?!)

You can expect next week to be the best week ever on this little here blog though so be prepared!

Also I am SOOO SORRY for not responding to anyone and everyone that's has emailed and commented since last Wednesday!
I know I am more than behind but just know I am not ignoring you or anything of the sort!
Like I said I'm just out of this world busy!
I plan to respond to emails and reply to comments next Monday! So please hold on until then before getting mad at me! ;)
(p.s. I know you would never really get mad, but just in case I had to mention it!)

and Just because I cant respond to you right away doesnt mean I wouldnt love some blog lovin still! :) So comment away please!

Ooh What a Beautiful Weekend! Ooh what a Wonderful Two Days!

Well hello there!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!!

If your like me your wishin that it wasn't over already! 

Time flys when your having fun!

and that's exactly why my weekend was so quick to be over with!

Lots of fun things happened this weekend!

My man came home to visit! (again!! I am spoiled I know!)

It was quite an exciting visit because...

Justin is now a pick up man!

A studly Pick up man, don't ya think!?

He went and bought a brand new F150 on Saturday and let me tell you it is niiice!

I am so excited for him!

and super excited that I now have personal air control, a large visor mirror, my own built in sunglasses holder, and super roomy seat as this man's shot gun girl! 

I cant wait to all the tail gates, road trips, and memories that we are going to have in this truck! 

(which will all most likely be shared with y'all at one point n' time)

That wasn't the only exciting part of my weekend...

I finally saw Harry Potter 7 part two!

I thought it was really good but I am really sad that it is all over! 

I will still continue to have Harry Potter marathons though and I might even start reading the books!
(key word might)

Along with those two exciting things I also started on another DIY project for my apartment and made two recipes that I can not wait to share with all of you!

Weekend Happenings

Hello Beauties!

 

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

 

I had a very productive weekend working, doing some DIY projects for my apartment, working on a project for my summer class, and spending time with my family!

 

On Saturday I went to Habitat for Humanity, which was quite a bit of fun! Habitat for Humanity is a organization in Tulsa that helps people in the community with rebuilding, renovating, and cleaning homes and other organizations. Also they have a big shop/warehouse with all kinds of household items like doors, light fixtures, kitchen cabinets, paint, sinks, windows, wood, etc that had been donated or brought from a project habitat for humanity has worked on.

 

Do you have a Habitat for Humanity in your town?

 

It was my first time to go to a place like this it reminded me of a thrift shop but in a Lowe's form.

 

Here is somethings I saw there...

Anybody need a toilet?! haha

After about an hour and a half I walked away with all of this!

 A door, window, and a piece of trim

I can not wait to show you what I am going to do with it all! Just know the next time you see these items they will not look at all the same!

 

On Sunday I woke up bright and early! (It wasn't actually bright at 5am though more like pitch black) I had work at 6am for the fall floor set at Fossil! I don't know if any of you have ever worked in retail but if you have you understand how big a season change floor set is!

 

We had so much shipment (new clothes) it took 6 hours just to get it ready! Then another 6 hours to get the men's side of the store done! (I'm not sure how long the women's side took since I didn't work that shift but I bet ya it took another 6 or 7!)

Here is you inside look into the starting process of a floor set! It is a complete mess! (don't worry those clothes are on a protected tarp!)

To finish up my Sunday I had a date with my Grandmama Jean

We went out to lunch at Olive Garden and then had our nails done!

And that was my weekend!

Weekend Wins!

Hello there! :) Hope your having a wonderful day so far! My day is already loads better than yesterday! yay!

Anyway I promised to tell you all about my weekend and the things that made it great!

1. My Airman came home this weekend!! That was what really made my weekend so wonderful! We needed to see each other and so it just made everything blissful! We are best friends (literately) and even though we get to talk on the phone, there is a huge difference getting to talk face to face! I was a short little visit and I was really sad when I had to say good-bye again! I miss him like crazy when he is gone! BUT it looks like the 30th I will be going to visit him and I can not wait!!

2. I cut my hair!! Yes really, even though I was saying two weeks ago that I only wish I could cut my hair short and then have it grow back to being long a week later. I just did it (mostly because I was told "don't chicken out" from the boyfriend haha) and I LOVE it! I cut 6 inches off (and yes I was freaking out the whole hair appointment) What do ya think!?

3. This weekend marked ONE MONTH until I move!!

4. My family had a cook out on Saturday and my Papa made his wonderful homemade onion rings and fried pickles! They were delish!

5. As you have probably noticed I don't usually have very many pictures to go a long with my post. That is because I don't have a camera (It got stolen when someone broke into my car two years ago) Being a college student I haven't really saved up the money to buy a camera because A) I'm kinda poor and well I would rather eat and be able to drive B) If I get a camera I want to get a super awesome one! To my point though.. My Airman has let me have barrow his camera! and it is very nice Canon PowerShot! Isn't he just awesome!! Now I will be able to post pictures all the time like all you other great bloggers! woo hoo!

So there ya go folks! My weekend in a nutshell!

(Sorry I have had some kinda lame post lately! I'm working on bringing up the cool factor! I promise!) 

I now need to finish my BLTO sandwich and get back to work!
