Is anyone else having one of those "I just wanna snuggle up and lay around all day long" days?!?

ME!! ME!! ME!!

It a perfect snuggle weather of 55º here in my little town today. I am reluctantly being a good college kid today and going to all of my classes even though I would much rather just stay right here! 

{Thank goodness for a two and a half hour break between classes so I can still come home for a bit!}

Now I just need to get this guy to take a homework break and come join me for my cuddle break!!

(I currently failing at making this happen but I will prevail! Hopefully.)

My Wonderful, Amazing, Glourious Vaca!!

Sooo I Lied.....

Have yall been wondering where in the world i have been?!

Well I wish I could say I've been off on a glorious vacation or that I was kidnapped for a almost week long shopping spree but my disappearance was much less than happy and exciting. 

I was gone because right now I look like this

okay not exactly like that because I have a human face but the ratio of cheek size to the face size is just about right.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out!!

Before I had my surgery I had heard that either I would do great and it would be like nothing happened or it would be supper horrible and I would almost die.

Sadly I was not a lucky winner to pull the "this is nothing" card. 

One.) I don't do well on Anastasia at all. 

Two.) I have a HUGE fear of needles especially when they have anything to do with going into the crease in my arm (thats a whole another story for later... lets just say I was traumatized as a child)

Three.) All of my wisdom teeth were deeply impacted

Four.) Before the Dr. even introduced himself he walked in looked at my x-ray and said "oh man! You're definitely gonna on a two week recovery plan.

(ummm two weeks?! not what I was planning!)

So yeah all of these things combined didn't exactly add up to be the greatest moment of my life yet. And trust me I wish I was exaggerating. 

Luckily I am finally able to be a normal sain human being (I am finally off my oxicodonx...lets just say know one should have to see me while under its influence.)

Also I have been able to upgrade from a liquid diet to a soft food diet!

Oh and the one thing that I have found to be one of the worst things about this whole ordeal is not being able to drink out of a straw!! Yes straws, you never know how much you love straws until you cant use them anymore.

Okay Okay Ill end my complaining and pity party now!

Happy Birthday To My Love #21

Justin is turning the big 2-1Today!!

Woot Woot!!!

Happy Birthday Honey!! 

I love you soooo much!!

Im really hoping this birthday is the BEST birthday you have ever had!!

Tonight's Celebrations will include a simple relaxed evening (at his request) and some homemade cooking made by muah (Ok and the birthday man too) 

Oh and a bottle of wine if I can convince ^^^ that guy! Hoping its not replaced by some super "manly" beer ;) (maybe Ill have a bottle of wine to myself ha!)

There will also be some present opening will also be taking place tonight!

 Honestly I don't have a very good record of awesome present shopping/giving. I always end up with a wrong size or some broken electronic or little lame nick nak. BUT this birthday Im trying to change my record and go for the gold! I can't reveal Justin's gifts yet because I have one of those awesome men that reads my blog everyday! ;) So tomorrow I will reveal if the gift givin was a success! 

If you wanna leave Justin some Birthday Wishes you totally should! I know it would make his B-day even awesomer!!

After Seven Long Months...

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!

Today Justin is FINALLY moving to Stillwater!!!

Which means were both in the same state, city, and basically even the on the same street!

It take less that five minutes to get to each others places 

(which is soo much better than 45min when were both actually living at home)

I am soo excited I can't sit still! I have the biggest smile on my face and I am about as giddy as a girl who got her first kiss!

Justin graduated from his tech training school this past Wednesday and I cant even begin to tell you how proud I am of that manly stud!

Seven months ago we were saying goodbye as he left for basic and now we're finally beginning an "everyday" life together!

In March Justin left for basic and was there for two months. He didn't have any kind of communication whats so ever except for writing snail mail letters and an occasional 5-15 min phone call on a sunday which was always to his mom. I wrote Justin everyday and would be jumping up and down in the middle of the street when I would get a letter from him (I received a total of 10! - which is pretty good compared to most!) 

After the two months had painfully and slowly gone by Justin's parents and I went down to San Antonio to see him graduate from basic! It was one of the best trips ever! When we finally saw each other it was like we handout skipped a beat and we just had soo much to catch up on! I can't really put into words how amazing it was being together again!

This was the first time we saw each other since he had left!

Justin actually got to come home for a few weeks before he left for Missouri and let me tell ya those few weeks were like heaven and 100 pumpkin lattes mixed together kind of bliss compared to the previous months! but then He had to leave once again! This time for five months but he would be able to have his phone and he promised we would talk everyday if possible! So it was just .00000000000000001 times easier to let him go. 

It was actually just me and him at the airport the morning he left for Missouri. We didn't have to say much we just held on to each other, and given each other lots of kisses not really being sure of when we would be seeing each other next. Little did we know how lucky we would be to see each other a lot more than we imagined!! :)

(and we took a kissy picture! lol which is actually one of my favorites)

(sorry if you hate kissy pics! It goes along with the story though!!)

And now the day we have been talking about forever and ever is here!! 

Crazy Right?!

Now I can probably bet you that all of my I's will probably become We's and I hope ya'll don't mind it too much! 

Personally I am getting a little tired of the word "I" but I might be a little bias! ;)

Dear Monday, Your Awesome!

Happy Monday Friends!

(I'm trying to be really nice to Monday so that hopefully it will be really nice to me in return today!)

How was everyones weekend?!

I hope GREAT is the answer!

That's what my answer is! :)

Because My weekend consisted of some great/fun/happy/awesome things like...

- Dressing up and going to the Creative Workshop by a Designer from London!

The workshop was amazing!!

(Maxi Dress: Target, Belt: Thrifted from my Moms Closet)

(I still don't have a fashion photographer but get excited because I will here soon!!)

- My man coming to see me!!

- Moving some of the handsome man's things into his house so it will be kinda ready for him when he moves back in A WEEK!! (ahhh Im so excited!)

- Trying the new BLT Blue cheese hot dog from Sonic

Let me tell ya I never knew a hot dog could taste that way and be so yummy!!

- Window shopping and adding even more things to my want list! Like the most beautiful pair of tennis shoes I have ever seen and a super stylish jacket. 

- eating fried pickles!!! I LOVE pickles and fried ones at that and I had the pleasure of discovering that sonic has some on their menu!! 

- Watching Bridesmaids!!

I had been wanting to see this movie for soo long and it finally happened yesterday!

I personally thought that the movie was stinkin hilarious and I might have even watched it two times in row! 

- Homework, Homework, Studying, and Homework

 - A good friend coming over and just hanging out and talking instead of doing homework like we said we would (Im kinda really glad we didn't)

- eating M&Ms and peanut butter with a spoon

One Word: MmmMMmm

(If that even is a word)

- OSU winning against Texas A&M! woot woot! I knew my Cowboy's could do it! Were 3-0 right now and I hope we keep up the booty kickin!!

- Pizza and having two boxes left over in my fridge! I got a whole pizza from my Dad and one from Justin in a three day span! Success! 

- A really wonderful and relaxing bubble bath that I really needed after my crazy week and to get me ready for this one!

- Discovering a new hair style for myself!

Daddy's Girl

Happy Fall!!!

and

Friday!!

I think this has to be one of the best Fridays ever with it being the first day of Fall and the start of my much needed weekend!!

Anywho some of you might remember me saying something about my daddy-o coming to visit me yesterday...

Well he did come and we had a Great night together!

I am a complete Daddy's Girl and I have been since day one basically! 

My Dad and I pretty much have the same personality and so I think thats what make us click so well.

(I am not denying I have several qualities like my mom and we click in our ways too but that is a whole other post)

To start our evening off my dad took me to one of my favorite restaurants here in Stillwater called Eskimo Joes!

Have you ever heard of it or been there?! If you haven't you have to go! and let me come with you! ;)

My dad order the Fowl Thing (chicken sandwich) and when it came out it was HUGE!

(Im telling you Im not exaggerating)

This is my Daddy ready to eat the massive thing!

I had a burger and some of the best fires ever! I don't know why but I have a strong obsession with Joe's french fries and ranch. I think I would eat them everyday if possible!

I had meant to ask for our waitress to take our picture together but It was a little busy and I didn't get the chance :/ next time I guess!

After our super yummy dinner we went back to my apartment to change and get ready to run around campus.

A little over a year ago my dad really started to go into this health kick and started working our a lot. He wasn't over weight or unhealthy in my opinion but it was just something he really wanted to do. 

His dad, my Grandpa, passed away when I was just a year old from heart problems and I think my dad wants to make sure he really takes care of him self so he can make sure he will be around for a long time! Which I am more than proud of him for doing!

He actually lost a lot of weight (even though there wasn't much to loose in the first place) and he has stayed pretty detected to his new lifestyle. 

Anyway the point of that story is we ran two and a half miles together and let me tell you this 41 year old man complexity put me to same! As embarrassed as I should be I really am not because I am just gleaming with pride! He is a beast and there is no other way to put it.

After our run my dad really wanted to get Ice cream (oh the irony) so we did.

It was a great reward in my opinion especially because i had PUMPKIN ICE CREAM with white chocolate chips!

ooh it was sooo yummy!!

In conclusion we had a perfect Daddy and Daughter night! 

(Thank You Daddy!)

Now my dad is off an gone back home and I am off to have a great weekend!!

This.Is.My.Life.

and I really don't mind it one bit! 

I have to admit I am one of those nerds that loves school! 

I enjoy going to class, being on campus, meeting new people and becoming close friends with the people you have classes with everyday. I love the challenge and the amount of knowledge I gain but never thought I could. I love the feeling of A(cing) my projects and tests and the gratification of a finished design and project. I love getting my hands covered in lead from drafting and making my ideas come to life. I love the smell of the textiles library and and the sound of pencils drawing and mouses clicking. I love using all 40 hours limit on pandora during finals week. and I love being pushed out of my box and being inspired to be in a constant creative state of mind. 

Okay so you get the point now. I really like school.

I mean sure I don't enjoy having tons of homework all the time and being a stressed mess. Staying up all night and rushing to get assignments in minutes before their due are not very awesome things either.  Having swollen feet and an aching back from my 100 pound backpack and trucking miles a day isn't the greatest thing.

 Last night all I could see were all these negatives but then I realized there are a lot more things that I love about school than the number of things I hate. 

This is my life right now and I am loving it! 

(and I am loving all the other great things that comes along with being a college kid besides school of course!)

Sometimes its so easy to get caught up in the negatives of everything but with every "hate" I believe there are 1,000 loves. Sometimes those loves are so hard to see for some reason. Its like we see the bad things as the moon and that its the biggest thing ever even though there are millions of stars (aka the great things)! At the end of the day this is your life so why not love try your best to focus on the good things going for ya?! See the stars!!

I'm Falling In Love...

...with Fall again!!

Yesterday was a cool, rainy, fall day with a high of 65º!! It was perfect! 

(ahhh rain!! I was so excited I HAD to take a picture!)

I got to pull out my sweaters and skinny jeans and it was simply blissful!

I wore a hunter green sweater with a pair of dark skinny jeans

(Sadly I don't have anyone to take my pictures and it was to dark for the computer to work so this was the best I could do. Hopefully I can talk Justin into being my photographer when he moves back!) 

The weather was perfect for cuddling and I was totally in a cuddle mood when I got home (I am a major cuddle bug) but because I didn't have my man to do so with I opted out to wearing his hoodie and cuddling up in a blanket instead.

Yayy for boyfriend's oversized hoodie!!

Today is exactly the same weather and I am loving it still just as much! I have a lot of studying and a few test to take today though so I went with more of a comfy route...

and to make Friday and Fall even better...

I had my first Pumpkin Pie Latte of the season!! 

So now it is officially Fall!! woot woot and I am really hoping the Oklahoma weather decides not to be bipolar and try to switch back to Summer again!

I am crossing my fingers that the weather will stay like this for at least the rest of the weekend but well see how far that gets me! As much as I love the warm sunshine I am still a rain loving girl anyday!!

Anywho, I hope all you little pumpkins are having a very happy Friday and that your weekend is super awesome!! 

oh and to any of you Tulsa Fans out there GO POKES!!! I am hoping we kick your booty tomorrow... I mean that in a nice way!!

I'm Keeping My Promise!

See I told you I would be back today!!

And I have to tell you allll about my week!!

Monday: I spent the day at home making pillows with my mom! My couch was in desperate need of some bling and I had found the perfect fabrics at Hobby Lobby!!

Tuesday: I was back to the grind of school again! In class basically from 8:30am to 10:30pm!

Wednesday: I had class and then a little party at my house for the interior design girls! It was Pizza and Movie Night! A lot of girls were busy but five super awesome girls ended up coming and we had a great time! We each made our own mini pizzas and I made cake pops and watermelon lemonade! We ate our hearts out and talked till we dropped!

Thursday: I had class and then went to the OK State verse Arizona game!! I had a good time with everyone and the Cowboys beet some booties!! woo hoo!

Today: I had class and hung out with a dear old friend of mine! We had lunch and then went window shopping and said "if only I had a million dollars" about a million times! ha Then we went back to her lovely little house and I played with her son (aka my handsome little buddy) for a while!

Isn't he just the cutest little man you've ever seen?!

So beautifuls that has been my week and why I temporarily disappeared!

I have not gotten to read, comment, or reply to anyone in over a week :( and I am so sorry about that!

This weekend though I am planning on doing all my catching up!!

Yayy!! So I cant wait to see what wonderful things you have all been up to!

I'm Still Alive!

Thank you everyone for your sweet wishes, encouragement and comments for my first day of school!

I am loving my classes and campus so much already but it is definitely official that school is in session! 

I am sorry I didn't post this morning! I literately have class today from 8:30am - 10:30pm with only two hour breaks the whole day! 

(so feel so loved that I am using one of my breaks to post right now! (; )

*note to self start writing Tuesday's posts the night before*

The first days of the semester are about to be over and now its time to be thrown into hours of homework. 

yay! (sarcasm)

I have already met a few new "friends" and I think I am going to like most of my professors!

So basically I just wanted to share with you that I think this semester is going to be great and a bunch of other things like...

Awesome, super busy, fun, stressful, challenging, productive, entertaining, and filled with many cups of coffee! 

Be more than sure I will be posting about all of the things that contribute to the adjectives above describing my semester! 

I am so excited to be right where I am and I love that I can share and save my life and the events that it holds here on this little blog! and what makes it even better is all of you is who I am sharing my stories with! 

I hope you all had a very happy Tuesday and do not fret because I will be back to posting in the morning tomorrow! :) It is one of my favorite days of the week so ya know I wont be missing it!!
