Im a Mommy!!!

A fur babies mommy that is! 

(I had ya a little fooled didn't I!)

Justin and I have been wanting to get a dog for a very long time now!

Now that we are both living in the same place our dream could finally become a reality!

Justin has never had a dog, or any other pet for that matter, because his parents wouldn't let him, so as you can imagine he reallllly wanted a dog! He has always loved loved loved bulldogs for as long as I can remember but he still loves about any dog he see's so preference really wasn't an issue when we decided to started to think about getting a dog. 

Saturday night Justin and I were looking online at dogs in pounds around our area and decided that the next day we would go to the pound here in Stillwater just to look and see.

On our way to the pound we saw a guy selling some puppies in a parking lot by the road (sounds kinda sketchy but its a pretty normal thing here in Oklahoma) and like any right minded man would do with a woman yelling "Pull Over!! Pull Over!! Lets Go See What They Look Like!!!", Justin did. Once we walked up and saw the little puppies I was already in love! Justin asked what kind of dogs they were and the guy told us she is a bulldog and pitbull boxer mix. Right then I had the feeling we would not be leaving with out a puppy!

We played with those little pups for quite awhile and fell in love with a beautiful little girl with brindle and white fur. Turns out this little lady was the man selling her's favorite and so her price was higher than the other three but we knew she was more than worth it!

 After she was officially ours we took our little puppy straight to Pets Mart. We must have been pretty obvious new parents because a dog trainer employ came up to us as we were staring up at kennels with faces of complete wonder, nervousness, happiness, and cluelessness and asked if we needed help. We then started asking any kind of question involved with puppies imaginable and luckily Beth from Pets Mart knew her stuff like no bodies business! 

We left with a kennel, a mattress for the kennel, a orange color and matching leash, two toys, three bags of treats and a bag of food. I'd say we pretty much covered all the basics and we were ready to spoil our little princess. 

It took us a while to pick out her name but as we were checking out we decided on Karley. Karley Marie  Kanipe to be exact! 

Now Justin and I are proud puppy parents and we could be happier to now have a little plus one! Bringing her home, taking her to potty, playing non stop, chasing each other around the house, its all a major event now. Oh and let me tell ya I have never been so camera ready in my life! My Iphones memory is already half way full with pictures of Karley!

She's just soo precious isn't she?!?! I can already prepare you with the fact that Miss. Karley is going to become pretty popular on this her blog! So just be ready for Raids of Orange to go up about ten levels of cuteness!

Happy Birthday Honey!! 

I love you soooo much!!

Im really hoping this birthday is the BEST birthday you have ever had!!

Tonight's Celebrations will include a simple relaxed evening (at his request) and some homemade cooking made by muah (Ok and the birthday man too) 

Oh and a bottle of wine if I can convince ^^^ that guy! Hoping its not replaced by some super "manly" beer ;) (maybe Ill have a bottle of wine to myself ha!)

There will also be some present opening will also be taking place tonight!

 Honestly I don't have a very good record of awesome present shopping/giving. I always end up with a wrong size or some broken electronic or little lame nick nak. BUT this birthday Im trying to change my record and go for the gold! I can't reveal Justin's gifts yet because I have one of those awesome men that reads my blog everyday! ;) So tomorrow I will reveal if the gift givin was a success! 

If you wanna leave Justin some Birthday Wishes you totally should! I know it would make his B-day even awesomer!!

Impressed

Howdy Ya'll!!

 I hope you are having yourself a merry little Tuesday.

I just have to say thank you so very much for all of you incredibly sweet comments yesterday! :) they all put a big smile on my face!

Justin's move was very successful!

He pretty much got everything done except for some boxes left in his room. 

His living room however is suppper nice! 

Im tellin ya I am soooo impressed because he "designed" the whole thing himself!

Yes really!! He picked everything out from the rug to the furniture and the accessories! 

I have pictures to prove to you just how impressive this is!!...

(there is a really neat 3D picture that is gold and black and it will go above the couch)

and these are the bar stool that I am absolutely in LOVE with! 

(Thats Justin's Dad btw lol)

CRAZY GOOD RIGHT?!?

He is now calling himself an interior designer haha and in this senario I think he definitely has earned it!

So yeah there you have it folks! I think you should leave the man some blog lovin... just a little... I mean if you at all as impressed as I am!

His room isn't picture ready yet but when it is I will be sharing it with yall too because I am thinking its gonna be just as good looking as this!

After Seven Long Months...

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!

Today Justin is FINALLY moving to Stillwater!!!

Which means were both in the same state, city, and basically even the on the same street!

It take less that five minutes to get to each others places 

(which is soo much better than 45min when were both actually living at home)

I am soo excited I can't sit still! I have the biggest smile on my face and I am about as giddy as a girl who got her first kiss!

Justin graduated from his tech training school this past Wednesday and I cant even begin to tell you how proud I am of that manly stud!

Seven months ago we were saying goodbye as he left for basic and now we're finally beginning an "everyday" life together!

In March Justin left for basic and was there for two months. He didn't have any kind of communication whats so ever except for writing snail mail letters and an occasional 5-15 min phone call on a sunday which was always to his mom. I wrote Justin everyday and would be jumping up and down in the middle of the street when I would get a letter from him (I received a total of 10! - which is pretty good compared to most!) 

After the two months had painfully and slowly gone by Justin's parents and I went down to San Antonio to see him graduate from basic! It was one of the best trips ever! When we finally saw each other it was like we handout skipped a beat and we just had soo much to catch up on! I can't really put into words how amazing it was being together again!

This was the first time we saw each other since he had left!

Justin actually got to come home for a few weeks before he left for Missouri and let me tell ya those few weeks were like heaven and 100 pumpkin lattes mixed together kind of bliss compared to the previous months! but then He had to leave once again! This time for five months but he would be able to have his phone and he promised we would talk everyday if possible! So it was just .00000000000000001 times easier to let him go. 

It was actually just me and him at the airport the morning he left for Missouri. We didn't have to say much we just held on to each other, and given each other lots of kisses not really being sure of when we would be seeing each other next. Little did we know how lucky we would be to see each other a lot more than we imagined!! :)

And now the day we have been talking about forever and ever is here!!

Now I can probably bet you that all of my I's will probably become We's and I hope ya'll don't mind it too much! 

Personally I am getting a little tired of the word "I" but I might be a little bias! ;)

Best.Weekend.Ever.

Hello sweet friends!!

First things first, I missed y'all yesterday and I am so sorry I didn't post! 

This whole moving to a new town and starting school at a new university is kinda taken over my week days but once I get in the grove of things I'll be better! I promise! :)

Now I have to tell you about the best weekend ever!!

 (It was this past weekend to be exact)

The very best part of my weekend was that guy coming to visit me for the whole weekend!

(aka my man Justin)

He got in just in time for us to go to College Fest Friday night! Ill be honest, if he wouldn't have been there I don't think I would have loved going so much. It was just so nice to have him there and just be able to walk by his side with my hand in his! (I have been missing him a whole bunch being here in Stillwater with out him) 

Remember when I mentioned College Fest last Wednesday?  Well that was this past weekend and let me tell you it was awesome!! College fest is a big even that lasts Thursday-Saturday on the outskirts of Stillwater. They have a big stage outside in the middle of a field type area and different country singing bands play while a bunch of us college kids just chill and have a good time. Also there is a country dance club called the Tumbleweed (the place that hosts the events) and after the bands stopped playing everyone goes in there to two step the night away!

My favorite part of the whole event was the dancing! Justin and I are not the best in the world at it but I like to think were pretty good! We haven't really learned how to do a bunch of spins and things like that but we are planning on taking classes when he gets back home for good! We had such a good time moving around that dance floor and I feel like it went by so fast because I was having so much fun! 

After that main event we went to a friends house to hang out with some of our good friends and we just chilled and talked until the wee hours of the mornings. Then we all went our separate little ways and thankfully slept in! (aka sleeping in for me is sleeping until 10) 

Saturday is when the second part of the best weekend ever took place. 

Justin and I decided to have the whole day as just an "us" day! We went to lunch and then walked around to a few OSU shops. Justin ended up buying us both the 2011 game day shirt which I can not wait to wear! (he more than spoiled me this weekend) 

After that we went grocery shopping! I had a blast doing that with him! We got some things to make dinner and then he ended up spoiling me again and stocking up my kitchen! 

We then went back to my place and made dinner together! I never realized how much fun it can be to cook a meal with the one you love! We just enjoyed doing such a simplistic everyday thing together and really made the most out of the moment! I was actually a good blogger and we took several photos of our dinner making skills...

Justin kinda had an accident with the ranch and pretty much dumped half the bottle on his plate.

Its a good thing he loves ranch and eats it with everything!

After our wonderful meal we proceeded to have some chocolate pie and watch a movie. It was so relaxing and I really enjoyed just cuddling up with my man for a while!

The next day we ended up driving back to Tulsa so that he could get his truck and so he could go back to Missouri. I didn't want him to leave again :( but he only has one month left before he is done and he is going to be back next weekend for the season opening football game!!

That right there was my best weekend ever, all thanks to my wonderful boyfriend! 

We always have so much fun being together and being ourselves! He makes me feel so beautiful for simply being me and I am so blessed for that! I don't know what I would do with our that man! haven't

I hope you all are doing great and I promise I will try to get my act together soon! I haven't really gotten to read anyones posts the past week and i haven't really gotten to reply to comments either but I cant wait to catch up with all of you pretties!

Today I originally planned on sharing a little DIY craft that I did over the weekend but I have decided that it is just going to have to wait because there is a change in plans.

The plan changed after I did not watch the Bachelorette and eat M&Ms but instead talked on the phone for an hour and forty five minutes with my man

Now before you see that this is post is pretty lengthy and that its all about my love life and stop reading, please at least scroll to the bottom! I would love to hear from all of you on this one! 

Also I would like to share that My Airman's name is Justin. I like just calling him by his name sometimes and I want you to know who I am talking about! So know that you know that we can move on to what happened last night...

Justin and I talk just about every night. Our usual conversation is about our day and what we did, our friends and whatever crazy thing they have done now, about our future and how we cannot wait for him to officially come back home, this little blog here, and random little things. During the week we talk for about an hour at the max because my honey has to get up super early everyday and I know he is so worn out. So to get to talk for almost two hours last night was so nice! We used to talk on the phone for hours and hours at a time, sometimes even having “phone sleepovers” staying up all night talking; it had just been such a long time since we had been able to talk as long as we did.

Our talk started with our usual catch-me-ups about our day and everything that was going down on the base and here at home. but then somehow we got onto sharing crazy and embarrassing stories about things we thought and did when we were little, stories that we somehow had never shared over the past five years. Then the stories turned into when we first started dating and what was really running though our heads during different events. It brought even more giggles and a few “I can’t believe that happened” thoughts.

Stories about growing up and what our relationship used to be, then turned into talking about how much we have grown up since we left high school. We have been dating since graduation and we were looking back at how much our relationship and we as people have changed. As you all know you are not at all the person you were since the day you got your high school diploma. You change so much about yourself, your views, and your thoughts, you grow up. Justin and I are not at all the same people we used to be and we were just gloating over the fact that even trough three years of distance between us we have changed and grown up together. As much as we have both individually changed we still don’t skip a beat and that’s something I am so thankful for! Justin is my absolute best friend and has been since junior year! I don’t know what I would do without him by my side! We share everything with each other and I just can’t imagine life without the guy!

After that our conversation turned into how much our life and relationship is about to change with us both being in the same town and living two minutes away from each other. It will be such a big difference to what we have known the past few years. We already know and plan being together almost 24/7! We are so excited we can hardly stand it! As much excitement that there is I was a little tiny bit scared too! (And of course I shared it with him)

We are about to enter experiencing everyday life together! We are going to be doing things like cooking, shopping, studying, and cleaning/laundry daily together! (No we are not moving in together but like I said we are planning to be together pretty much all of the time) Although we have done all of those things at some point in our relationship it‘s still going to be different. The part that is kind of scary is I just don’t want him to get tired of me! (I know it’s silly but I don’t!) And it’s just that this is a place and experience neither one of us are familiar with. As much as we have had our “we” mentality in the past it really is US now.

He turned my .00000001% of cowardness into 100% excitement! He just made me feel even better about where we are going in our life! This is such an exciting time in our relationship and I can’t wait for him to move back! I have no doubts that we will love spending every second we have together! I am such a lucky girl to have a man like him! I love him with all of my heart and I am thrilled to grow even more with him and keep watching as our relationship turns into a marriage one day! (No I do not have a ring but we are more than sure we will be getting married eventually) He is my forever!

So in conclusion I am so glad I didn’t watch the Bachelorette! (It will be on Hulu when I get home anyway lol) We had such a great talk last night and I can’t wait to have a million more together! I ended up going to bed with a huge smile on my face, happy tears in my eyes, and even more in love.

Now I am wondering if you have gone through this change with your boo too? (I know all you Mrs. Have!)  If you have any advice for turning our relationship from long distance to 24/7 we would LOVE to hear it! :) Spill the beans!!
