I'm pinning it!

As of yesterday I am now a member of Pinterest! I had casually heard about it for a while now and since entering the blog world I started to hear about it a lot more! So I checked it out and started to fall in love!

You see Pinterest is this site with pictures. Tons and tons of pictures that you simply "pin" or "repin" onto boards. You can personalize and make as many boards as you would like! I am still trying to figure the whole sha bang out but so far i have a board for apartment inspirations, places I might like to go one day, future wedding ideas, cool things, DIY, and Interior Design Inspirations. 

You can actually follow people on Pinterest too! I have a few people I am following and already have a couple following me! It is lots of fun and I think you all should join in with me :) To join you have to be invited, so if you want to get in on the newest Internet addicting site since facebook and spend hours looking at all the amazing inspirational pictures let me know! Ill invite you!! Just leave me a comment or Email Me and Ill help get ya goin!

Now that I have helped you find what you are going to be doing all night I am off to go tubing on the lake, have a nice relaxing date with Mr. Sun, read, also waste spend some time on Pinterest with you all and read all of the amazing post on some amazing blogs!

Summer Goodness

Here is just a little peak of my weekend! I have been spending it at the lake and the best part about it is I'm not leaving till Thursday! 

This weekend I:

Kayaked down a river

Slept in

Gave myself a pedicure

Started a good book

Had a couple dates with Mr. Sun

Played dance central on xbox kinect

(You should try it! It's the funnest work out ever!)

Cruzed on the lake

Watched the Happy Potter marathon on ABC Family

Backed and cooked galore

and

Watched two beautiful sunsets

I plan to hit repeat on that list and do more of those fun summer things over the next few days that I ususally dont get to do because of work!

I'm on a Boat!

Well not exactly a boat but a kayak! I'm goin on vacation!! I'm on my way to go kayakin with my family and some family friends! Then I'm going to the lake to stay until Thursday!

I am in much need of this little trip to be honest! It fell perfectly into the middle of my summer which is so nice cuz it breaks it perfectly! I'm staying in this marvelous house right on the lake and then later I will actually be on a real boat!

I will probably end up posting some pictures over the weekend! So keep your eye put for them!

Take...To?...Too?.. oh TWO!

Hello everybody! It’s time for take two of Awkward & Awesome Thursday! yay! Last Thursday feels like it was seriously only yesterday! This week has gone by soo super fast! Craziness just Craziness!

Awkward

1. So for some reason every time I go get some coffee at work I get the last of the pot and because I am so nice I always start a new one for the next person that wants coffee. Here is the dealo though, there is never any coffee to make some more so I always end up walking to every little kitchenette around the building (there’s two on each floor) trying to get some. Finally I got tired of it so I took a few from each one resulting with my arms full of deliciousness (aka coffee) (They come in these pre-measured packs and so one pack = one pot of coffee. it’s cool) My last stop was the third floor, I work on the first floor, and I always take the stairs just to feel a little less lazy. You should also know I have a fear of falling down stairs, I don’t know why but I just do. So on my victory “I have lots of coffee” one man parade down the stairs my big fear almost came true! I lost my balance and immediately grabbed onto the handrail (aka the life raft in a stairwell) and in result of me saving my life I dropped ALL the coffee!  Just as I recollected myself and began to pick up the precious little packs the big guy of the house and a whole group of other people behind him were coming up the stairs. When I say big guy I mean like the OWNER of the company! He looked at all the coffee all over the place and then at me with a “what the hell are you doing” look proceeded to make some joke, that I didn’t hear which made everyone with him start laughing at me. After all that they all helped me pick up the mess so that was nice but it was defiantly winner for the one and only on the awkward list today!

Oh and

1.5 English is my least favorite subject in school! It always has been and probably always will be! I am the worst speller in the world and I am not the best at grammar either which might explain if you ever see some weird words and sentences on here! I'm sorry about that!! It's a little embarrassing sometimes! I don't really like to nitpick my post because I like having the rawness of my thoughts come out; therefore there are things that I might miss or not completely realize I have messed up. So if you don't mind you can do 1 of three things: 1. Just laugh and try to figure out what I am meaning/saying 2. Just laugh and tell me so I can fix it or 3. Think "how did this chick graduate elementary school?!" and include either number 1 or 2! Thank you!

Awesome       

1.       The kitchenette on my floor now has enough coffee stocked to last us three weeks!!

2. Over on Ashley's blog, The Shine Project, she had a wonderful guest, Casey Wiegand, who has a "How to make your own blog button" lesson post today! This completely made my day because I have been trying to figure out how to make one of those cute little things! So thank you Ashley and Casey!!

3. My grandma took me out shopping for some of necessities I still needed for my apartment last night! She is a sweetie and now I am almost all set up and ready to move! woo hoo!

4. My grandma also took me out to dinner last night at olive garden! I ended up with some leftovers and it made an awesome lunch!!

5. I am going on vacation tomorrow! I’ll give you all the details in my post tomorrow ;)

6. My little sister made some Amazing chocolate cover strawberries (and a few blueberries lol) earlier this week! They were delish!

I hope everyone is having an awesome day! And for those of you who do not work today and are getting to have your dates with Mr. Sun, know I am incredibly jealous!!

Wishin & Lovin

My dear blogging buddy Erin has invented wishin & lovin Wednesdays! She started it last week but I had already written my post before I discovered her Wednesday invention and so today I finally get to join in on the fun!

I’m wishin I could spend some of these summer days outside laying by the pool! As you can see from the few pictures I have posted I am glowing white! I have very fair skin and pretty much am the same color all year round, but if I were to have the time to lay out a few days a week I could get some color for once in my life! (A tan on me is probably what you look like in the dead of winter) You see at the beginning of the summer my relationship with Mr. Sun was going great! Almost every day we would spend several hours together and we would have such a great time. Each day he would even give me a little gift of a little bit of tanness, but then I started to miss a few of our dates because of work. He was pretty upset with me and so now he wont even try wait for me to get off before he starts to leave which leaves us no time together at all!

BUT

Im lovin That this weekend I ran into Mr. Sun and we realized we hadn’t skipped a beat. He understands now that I have to work in order to by those cute swim suits I wear for him and so hes now hes not upset with me anymore! He even gave me some tanness like he used too! (He still wont wait for me to get off work though, so I guess we will just have to work on that) We are going to spend a whole five days together on vacation at the lake next week though and so we are both pretty excited! Hopefully next week I can just be lovin that Ill have a real tan!

Im wishin Casey Anthony was in jail!! I still cannot believe she got off! I feel like EVERYONE thought she was guilty! I mean how could you not?!

I have no lovin for her honestly! I know we are supposed to love our enemies but the only lovin I have hear is for the dear little angle that was taken! I hope she is as happy as can be and filling more love than one can imagine up in heaven!

Im wishin I had hair that grows super fast because I keep having these thoughts about cutting my hair short (to my sholders) but I am too scared to do it because I know I will love that little short do for a little bit but then Ill be wishing for my long hair to come back. Wishin wont do much for me because my hair takes FOREVER to grow a centimenter much less inches!

BUT

Im lovin my long hair still though and that I can do lots of cute things with it! Honestly I usually wear my hair in one of two ways... down and straight or pulled up into a ponytail. So I’m gonna put some action to my lovin and work on trying new styles! It can be my second mission

Im wishin my boo could be home or that October would get here asap so we can live in the same town and go to school together already!  I miss him so much when he is gone! If I could have it my way I’d spend every minute of every day with him! (That may seem a little crazy but I can bet ya hes wishin it too ;) )

BUT

Im loving him dearly still and that we get to talk just about every day! (when he was in basic for 2 months we only talked through a few letters) He has been so sweet with texting and calling as much as he can! and every day he tries to make sure I know he loves me and misses me too! I also am lovin that even though most of our relationship has been long distance we have pushed through all the struggles and had our "fights against the world" and we are happier and more in love each day that passes!

Mission: Simplify and Organize

There are so many things going through my mind that I could write about today but I have finally picked my topic of the day… Hoarders. Yes you just read that right! Have you ever seen that show?! The first Hoarders show I ever saw was on TLC, but on A&E there was a marathon of another Hoarders show yesterday in which my sister and I took apart in watching about four episodes. (Why there was a Hoarders marathon on for the 4th of July I have no idea)

If you have never seen the show or don’t know what hoarding is, it’s actually mental disease where people keep everything and are super disorganized. Official definition: the excessive acquisition of possessions (and failure to use or discard them) even if the items are worthless, hazardous, or unsanitary. You can’t imagine some of the things that you see on the show! (Warning!! Don’t watch it on your TV dinner night!) It’s honestly so sad and heartbreaking to see what these people are living in. These amazing homes turned into a dump site. On the show it unveils homes of hoarders and they get someone to come and help clean the whole mess. Also they receive psychological help and discover what has put them in the place they are and how to change it.

I don’t know why but it’s kinda addicting to watch! I really like to see the transformation of the homes! (Maybe it’s the interior designer in me?) It’s just incredible to see how filthy and unlivable this place has been for years and then in a matter of days it’s this little home! After seeing all the hoarded houses it gives you this “My house isn’t that bad” feeling. Then you get a cleaning and organizing urge! (Well I do at least)

So now I am on a mission to simplify and organize!! I am not a hoarder and I am not even a very messy person but I am admitting my little room at home gets a little out of control with working to jobs and going to school. Not to mention the fact that I basically have a whole apartment in my room too because I’m storing all my stuff in there (no not couches and all my furniture, but everything else!) I can’t do a whole bunch in my room at home but I’m going to do everything I can! Then when I move into my apartment it will be my fresh start to get it all right! First I am going to start with my closet! I have a lot of stuff that is just old and doesn’t fit anymore. I’m pretty sure I could find a few things from back in the days of middle school! I’m gonna try to sell a few things to a consignment shop in town and donate the rest! I’m about a 5 in general on the 1-10 scale of sentimentalness and with clothing I am about a 1. My motto is that I have not worn it in the last two years it’s for sho going out! After my closet I’m not sure where I will be moving on to (maybe my desk) but I won’t stop until the whole mission is complete!

Happy Birthday America!

Well first let me tell you I am sorry for not posting on Friday and being late today! As I told y'all my Airman came home this weekend! Since I wont be seeing him much in the next three months I shut down my computer and spent the weekend with him. So Thank you for understanding ;)

Moving on.. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that your day is filled with fun while your enjoying all the fireworks, grilled hamburgers, homemade ice cream and patriotic pride!

My weekend was happily filled with all of those things and even a little bit more! 

Enjoying the Summer eveing together :)

My airman and I went car shopping on Saturday! He has a super cool mustang, but he is needing something with more room. (He got his mustang when he was 16 but hes now 6'4" and so its not the most comfortable car for him to drive) We looked at a few vehicles and we have now concluded that he wants a truck! Soo if anyone would like a 2007 Metallic Alloy Mustang that is in great condition its selling for $14,500! EMAIL ME if you are interested or spread the word to anyone that might be! :)

Sunday we filled with hanging out with family and friends. We had a cook out at my house for lunch and after we washed our cars then swam in the pool for a few hours. Then my Airman and I went to a cookout at a friends house which was great! We saw an amazing firework show that was literately in the backyard! It was such a big show the city fire departmeant came to help out! 

 It took several atempts but we finally got a shot with the fire works behind us! 

Today I have spent my day with family just relaxing around the house, said good-bye again to my love because he had to go back to Missouri and now I am getting ready to go celebrate Americas birthday at a party my friend is hosting!
